平時生活在充滿陽光，騎車只要12分鐘就能到港邊的高雄，很多靈感往往誕生於那些看似平凡的日常漫步，或是走進林道，觀察與樹共生的苔蘚在陽光穿透縫隙時，折射出的斑斕色彩。對她而言，大自然的細節不只是遠方的風景，還有穿梭在日常中那瞬間的畫面。

旅行則是她創作的催化劑。在陌生與安逸的矛盾安全感中，她走向更遠的山林、海邊與溪谷。那些溪流的湍急、雲霧的繚繞、高山的寂靜與植被的繁茂，都是凝結成創作的養分，偶爾畫畫偶爾織點東西。

Born and raised in Kaohsiung, Taiwan—a sun-drenched city where a brief 12-minute scooter ride carries you straight to the harbor—Chen Li-An finds her creative grounding in the rhythm of the everyday. Many of her inspirations are born from the seemingly ordinary moments of daily walks, or when she wanders into forest trails to observe moss coexisting with ancient trees, watching how it catches the shifting hues of sunlight filtering through the canopy. To her, the intricate details of nature are not merely distant scenery, but fleeting, living moments woven into the fabric of daily life.

Travel serves as the ultimate catalyst for her creativity. Embracing the contradictory yet comforting sense of security found in the unfamiliar, she journeys deeper into remote mountains, rugged coastlines, and hidden river valleys. The rushing currents of mountain streams, the lingering mists, the profound silence of high peaks, and the lush abundance of wild vegetation—all of these elements crystallize into the nourishment that feeds her artistic vision, where she occasionally paints and weaves.
