平時生活在充滿陽光，騎車只要12分鐘就能到港邊的高雄，很多靈感往往誕生於那些看似平凡的日常漫步，或是走進林道，觀察與樹共生的苔蘚在陽光穿透縫隙時，折射出的斑斕色彩。對她而言，大自然的細節不是遠方的風景，而是穿插在日常思考中的呼吸。

旅行則是她創作的催化劑。在陌生與安逸的矛盾安全感中，她走向更遠的山林、海邊與溪谷。那些溪流的湍急、雲霧的繚繞、高山的寂靜與植被的繁茂，都在她的眼中凝結成創作的養分。

Born and raised in Kaohsiung, Taiwan—a sun-drenched city where a brief 12-minute scooter ride carries you straight to the bustling harbor—Chen Li-An finds her creative grounding in the rhythm of the everyday.

For Li-An, inspiration is rarely a distant grand narrative; it is born from the simple, quiet moments of her daily walks. She often ventures into quiet forest trails, observing the moss coexisting with the ancient trees, watching how it catches the shifting hues of sunlight filtering through the canopy. To her, these intricate details of nature are not merely distant scenery to be admired, but a continuous, living breath woven into her daily thoughts.

Travel serves as the ultimate catalyst for her creativity. Embracing the contradictory yet comforting sense of security found in the unfamiliar, she journeys deeper into remote mountains, rugged coastlines, and hidden river valleys. The rushing currents of mountain streams, the lingering mists, the profound silence of high peaks, and the lush abundance of wild vegetation—all of these elements crystallize through her eyes, transforming into the very nourishment that feeds her artistic vision.
